Marcos Rolim da Silva

Marcos Rolim da Silva is a Ph.D. candidate and holds a Master’s degree in Civil Procedure from the University of São Paulo (USP) Law School. He earned his law degree from the Federal University of Pará.
He is a member of the Special Committee on Civil Procedure of the São Paulo State Bar Association (OAB/SP), the Brazilian Institute of Civil Procedure (IBDP), and the North-Northeast Association of Civil Procedure Professors (ANNEP). He is the author of a book and several scholarly articles on collective and structural litigation.
Marcos joined Lobo & Ibeas in May 2016 and remained with the firm following its restructuring and the formation of Lobo & Lira Advogados.
His practice focuses on strategic and real estate litigation, with particular emphasis on representing the shopping center industry, including at the institutional level. He has extensive experience handling constitutional litigation — such as direct actions of unconstitutionality and collective writs of mandamus — before state courts throughout Brazil and before the higher courts.
Admitted to practice in Brazil (São Paulo State Bar Association – OAB/RJ).
