A graduate in Law from the State University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ, 1992), Maria Luiza Faveret has served as Counsel for the State of Rio de Janeiro since 1996, with a practice focused on tax and social security law for over 25 years, spanning both advisory work and administrative and judicial contentious proceedings. She also has experience advising clients in matters involving administrative law. At Lobo & Lira, she serves as a consultant and heads the tax practice.
